What Dozehound is
Dozehound is a free service that plays calm, continuous video channels for a dog left at home alone, offered by Taylor Addison ("we"). Every channel is free to use, with no subscription and no payment of any kind. By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
It is not veterinary or behavioural advice, and it does not treat separation anxiety. If your dog is distressed, please talk to a vet or a behaviourist.
Your account
You need to be 13 or older (16 in the EU). Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at once if you think it has been compromised.
The channels
The video stays ours, or our licensors'. You may play it in your own home, as often as you like, on any device — account or no account. You may not download, copy, record, redistribute or screen it publicly, and you may not put it in front of an audience you charge. Nothing here stops you filming your own dog watching it.
Using the service properly
Do not use Dozehound to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, to probe or overload the service, or to do anything that interferes with other people's use of it. We may suspend or close accounts that do.
Availability
Dozehound is offered as-is. We aim to keep it running but do not promise it will be available at any particular time, and we may change or discontinue features. If we shut the service down we will give at least 30 days' notice. Nothing is charged today (see Payment, below); if that ever changes, we will not take a renewal payment we know we cannot honour.
Payment
There is none. Every channel is free, we take no payments, and we ask for no card anywhere in the product or on this site. Dozehound has never charged anyone, so there is no subscription in existence to cancel and no refund anyone is owed.
We may introduce paid features later. If we do, we will say so on this page and on dozehound.com before anything is charged, nothing you already have will be taken away without that notice, and no charge will ever be made without you choosing it first.
Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dozehound is provided without warranties of any kind, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or $100 if you paid nothing. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
You can stop using Dozehound and delete your account at any time. We can end these terms if you breach them; if we do, we will say why unless the law prevents it.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes. Material changes are announced inside the app before they take effect; continuing to use the app after that is acceptance.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia, United States, and disputes go to its courts.
